Tasting note: Pale straw-gold appearance. First nosing reveals amaretto / marzipan combined with a maraschino-like note. Subsequent sniffs reveal little change or diminution in the intensity of the aroma after several minutes. Entry is light and sweet. Mid palate is broad, sweet and delivers moderate concentration with the marzipan and maraschino notes repeating. Loses balance at the finish as the palate concludes flat and overly sweet, while the aftertaste tails off too soon. A light mixing liqueur, although the bottles are attractively silkscreen painted so if you’ve forgotten to bring a souvenir, it looks like it’s direct from Paris.18% Alc./Vol.
