A new release consisting of hand selected American oak ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
Nose: At first a bouquet of fruit appears with apricot being the dominant portion. When allowed to develop subtle tones of wood give way to sweet hues of vanilla, caramel and toffee.
Taste:An oily palate verifies the sweet nose with sweet and complex flavours reminiscent of maple syrup biscuits (similar to Anzac biscuits). Fruity flavours continue to evolve as the taste lingers.
Finish: A medium to short finish with flavours that are sharp and precise. The sweet glucose and fruit theme evolves into a dried fruits profile similar to fruit mince pie. A finish that disappears as subtly as it arrived on the palate.
