Stolen’s distillation and ageing process for this rum takes place in the Caribbean where it matures in ex-American whiskey oak barrels for a minimum of two years, before it is carefully blended by hand. Stolen then blend this rum with 100% all natural spices and oils, a method used in their handcrafted tincture based approach. Stolen have sourced the best tinctures of each ingredient from around the world including Fenugreek from Morocco, Vanilla Bean from Madagascar, Arabica Coffee Beans from Colombia and Smoke from American Hardwood. It’s painfully slow and expensive, but worth it for the unique taste.
