A blend of malt and grain produced in Coffey stills at Miyagikyo distillery. Named for Date Masamune the feudal warlord with one eye who first ruled the area around Sendai during the early 17th century.
Nose: Apricots, cantaloupe, coconut, tea, toffee, bran, oats
Palate: Big spices both savory and sweet, chunky malt, tea, toffee, peanuts, coconut, cereals with some classic Nikka bubblegum
Finish: Malt, savory spices, and cereals.
