Tasting note: [20ml sample] Brilliant amber. The cocoa and stewed plum bouquet is brimming with malty richness. Blockbuster stuff with a huge, oily attack; Salted caramel, toasted oak and vanilla drive the finish. Don’t look for complexity. What you get is an unpretentious, buxom whisky that’s so thick you chew your way through it. Non chill filtered. 52.7% Alc./Vol. Limited to 460 hand-numbered bottles.
