Oxford University botanist, James Firth, was employed to decide which plants showed the most promise, while the team at Adnams Distillery were commissioned to produce the gin using their East Anglian barley base spirit.Apart from the usual suspects, such as juniper, coriander seed, caraway and angelica, more esoteric, coastal and /or foraged botanicals include spignel, wood aven, bog myrtle, rock samphire, wild angelica and wild fennel.
