D’usse is a new brand from Baron Otard (owned by the Bacardi Group), intended as an extension into the American market, and so created to appeal to the American palate. Incorporating eaux-de-vie between four and eight years, aged in the cellars of France’s Château de Cognac, expect a full bodied style with touches of cinnamon and floral notes, almonds, subtle accents of honey and dried fruits. It comes handsomely packaged in a striking decanter featuring a gold-double-cross, combining medieval motifs with contemporary design. 40% Alc./Vol.
D’USSÉ Essential Facts. The symbol on the bottle is the Cross of Lorraine, a French emblem that symbolizes courage, honor and perseverance. It is made at Château de Cognac, one of the oldest cognac houses in France (in a region that has been producing cognac for more than 200 years).
