Tasting note: Pours a dazzling rust orange / autumn leaf red. One of the most delicate Kilchoman bouquets to date – dried red berries, some Turkish Delight, as well as rose hips, Monte-Carlo biscuits and fruit’n’nut chocolate – all infused with sweet smoke. Full bodied, but this feels graceful in the mouth. Mid palate features berry tart, dark chocolate and vanilla flavours brushed with sooty peat. Perfect balance. Concludes juicy and deliciously fresh, with cherry smoke and cherry-ripe through the aftertaste. The combination of young port and peat works beautifully. 50% Alc./Vol.
